Okay, well maybe it won’t kill us all but it is killing enough. That’s it! I am locking myself into my apartment and NOT coming out until this whole thing blows over. This is some scary stuff!!!

I did it today… I ran my first 5K- my time 38:12- you do not know how good I feel. Next it will be 8 mins. less… I am not going to give. Because in one of these runs I will place in my age group. I was a little scared in the beginning seeing all these people who are way better then me. But, as I started i did good- I made the first mile with no problem. The second mile was a little harder- I had to stop and walk- that was my problem I think- once I stopped and walk my mental game was gone. But, that is ok.. now I know what I need to work on. I will do way better on my next in two weeks! I may not have finished first, second, or thrid! But, I won my own run, I proved to myself I can do this…. As, I write this… I feel nothing is impossible… As my trainer works me harder and harder- I will not give up.
My mother just put it on my hair for the first time (from the powder mix)….and wow, it’s very messy and heavy on my head lol. Feels like a helmet. I’m hoping it turns out a dark brunette, that’s what the package said. It actually came with 1 packet of henna and 2 packets of indigo. The henna alone would create orange, definitely didn’t want that. If I wanted black, would have used henna, rinsed then applied indigo by itself. That was too involved though. It has to stay on between 1 and 5 hours, the longer the darker the color will be. This is also the body art quality, so I’m hoping it doesn’t fade as fast as the pre-mixed liquid I’ve been using.
btw, it smells like fresh cut grass to me. I told my mother she should probably take an antihistamine since she has asthma, and she did.
Oh my gosh do I feel better. I wasnt able to get out of bed for a few days there! I seriously thought I was dying. Totally miserable. Sick sick sick! Now that I am better I am to go shopping. And buy some new clothes since I think I lost about 5 inches! okay well, maybe not but I was very sick!
I need a nice strong man to come take care of me! Anyone want to come over and rub me down a little bit?
